Artistic Lineage

Gwynenn Taylor Jones

Professional Dance Instruction

Today, Gwynenn brings the depth of that professional experience into the classroom. She teaches ballet, pointe, Horton technique, improvisation, strength and conditioning, and performance coaching to adult, student, and pre-professional dancers.

Her teaching is technically grounded, artistically informed, and centered on the individual dancer.

Gwynenn is known for creating an environment that is rigorous without being intimidating. One where dancers are encouraged to work with purpose, take risks, build confidence, and experience the joy of creating a meaningful connection to their artistry.

She has helped guide students into respected college, conservatory, summer intensive, and pre-professional programs, while also creating welcoming opportunities for adult dancers to begin, return to, or deepen their ballet practice.

Gwynenn currently teaches and collaborates with dance schools, studios, and colleges, throughout the Hudson Valley.
